My friends would describe me as Family oriented, Nature loving, Generous, Sacrificial, Passionate, Trustworthy, Loyal, Independent, Persistent, Hardworking, Dedicated, very open and sharing person and of course totally in love with Jesus Christ. This is because of my nature and who I am. So, let’s dig into my psychological profile.
The Myers-Briggs Personality Type defines me as INFJ, the rarest personality type in the world, the type that is very organized and highly dedicated professionally and privately. This type gives me the feeling of having a “sixth sense”, since I can notice patterns related to human nature, I can read others well, grasping their emotional states and motivations in mere seconds. As big-picture thinkers INFJ’s are highly perceptive of others because we use our intuition to penetrate below the surface. We get into other people’s heads and figure out what makes them tick. I find this especially exciting. Seeing the big picture, noticing patterns and grasping the emotional states and motivations gives me the ability to make good predictions for the future based on the patterns that I’ve observed which in time prove to come true.
I am Melancholic (70%) and Choleric (30%). Gary Smalley Personality Types Inventory makes me Beaver (70%) and Lion (30%).
My “Signature Themes”, or the top 5 themes of talents according to Clifton Strengths Finder (“Living Your Strengths” by Winseman, Clifton and Liesveld) are: Belief (I have certain core values that are enduring, and they affect my behavior in many ways. They do more than energize me, they give my life meaning and satisfaction). Intellection (I like exercising the “muscles” of my brain, stretching them in multiple directions. I am introspective, and I enjoy time alone because it is my time for musing and reflection). Responsibility (This theme forces me to take psychological ownership of anything I commit to, and whether large or small, I feel emotionally bound to follow it through to completion). Empathy (I can sense the emotions of those around me. I can feel what they are feeling as though their feelings are my own). Analytical (I search for the reasons why things are the way they are. I see myself as objective and dispassionate).
The Big 5 Personality test (The OCEAN model of personality) says that I enjoy having novel experiences and seeing things in new ways. I tend to be original, creative, curious, complex (Openness to Experience/Intellect is 80 percentile). That I am very well-organized, self-disciplined, careful, and can be relied upon (Conscientiousness is 97 percentile). That I am relatively social and enjoy the company of others, friendly, fun loving, and talkative (Extraversion is 44 percentile). That I tend to consider the feelings of others, I am forgiving, sympathetic, courteous and good natured (Agreeableness is 79 percentile). That I tend to be calm, relaxed, secure, hardy, even in tense situations (Neuroticism is 4 percentile).
My primary love language (The Five Love Languages – Gary Chapman) is Physical Touch (Physical touch can make or break a relationship and is a powerful vehicle for communicating marital love), although Quality Time is important too (A central aspect of quality time is togetherness, and it’s not about proximity, but about focused attention).
In my free time I love to swim, hike, dance Salsa or cook. I love to travel in different countries and meet new people. And of course I love to spend time with my baby girl, my smart son and my lovely husband.
